Handmade kitchen in Alton Staffordshire

 

This handmade kitchen in Alton, Staffordshire Is painted in the striking, Farrow and ball off black.

The look is accentuated with hand made antique brass door furniture.

The layout is comprised of two very large floor to ceiling cabinets, the left hand side conceals a coffee machine, kettle and toaster behind pocket doors that open and slide back into the cabinet. The right hand side houses two integrated fridge freezers.The cabinets feature soft close, Blum concealed hinges as opposed to traditional butt hinges.

The island comprises an L shaped seating are for stools, a double Belfast sink, dishwasher, large pan drawers, pull out bin and two oak chopping blocks. The worksurfaces are Silestone, Carrara Quartz.

This project was a perfect example of where a handmade kitchen was really the best solution to use the space efficiently and to create a stunning centre piece that empathizes with the clients home.
