Bespoke kitchen in Duffield, Derbyshire
This bespoke Kitchen was designed and hand made in the classic English shaker style. It borrows its stylings from the working kitchens found in English stately homes.
Its elegance comes from its simple clean lines, symmetry and uncluttered functionality.
The layout of the design was carefully planned to pack in all the key features of an integrated Dishwasher and washing machine sitting either side of the double belfast sink. Two corner units containing fly-moonpull outs,
Sit either side of the range cooker. The symmetry is continued with the matching glazed cabinets either side of the bespoke canopy containing a fischer paykal integrated extractor.
Further round the kitchen are a large pan drawer unit, integrated built under fridge and a large pull out bin.
The whole project was managed by us. The room was stripped to bare brick. It was then re-wired and re-plumbed and then completely re- plastered, including a new ceiling with downlights .
The limestone floor was then layed and the bespoke kitchen carefully installed. This was all carefully co ordinated to cause the least disruption as possible to the client.
The cabinets are constructed with maple frontages and birch ply cabinets finished in a mushroom spray painted finish. The drawer boxes are solid, dovetailed Ash on Blum, soft close runners.
The worksurface are Silestone Arabesque.
The finishing touch is the antique brass knobs and latches, Supplied by Rowen and wren
