Bespoke, hand made boot room, Derbyshire

This bespoke, hand made boot room/utility room in Derbyshire was designed to be a hard working functional room whilst also maintaining the beauty and elegance of the customers country home.

The starting point of the design was the central pippy oak bench seat, above this a rail for coat hanging and five handmade pippy oak storage boxes for hats and gloves.

To the right of the bench seat is a large shoe cupboard with solid oak rack style shelves, to the left of the bench seat a tall storage cabinet for coats.

The rest of the room acts as the Utility room with a tall cabinet for the ironing board and hoovers. Below the solid oak work surface are an integrated washing machine and tumble dryer, Belfast sink pull out laundry baskets and bin.

The  bespoke hand made project was constructed with a mix of materials. The cabinets in lacquered veneered oak, the frontages in solid and veneered ash all spray painted in the customers chosen colour.
